Kathryn Elizabeth Rice of Jefferson was among nearly 2,800 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in historic ceremonies May 6 and 7.
Rice was awarded a master of music in music performance. She is continuing her education this fall at the University of North Texas pursuing a doctorate in music performance (clarinet).
She is the daughter of Kelly and Becky Rice of Jefferson.
