The Greene County girls soccer team evened its record at 1-1 with a 2-1 victory over Carroll April 4 on the new artificial surface at Carroll Stadium. Kirsten Lamoureux and Bailey Cunningham scored goals for the Rams. The team’s defense was strong, allowing just the one goal.

The Ram boys golf teams traveled to the Ballard Golf and Country Club in Huxley April 9 to play the Ballard Bombers golf teams. Ballard won the varsity match 180 to 212. Meet medalist was Ballard’s Kade Miller with a 44. Jadon Block led the Rams with a 45. He tied for meet runner-up but lot on the tie breaker.

The Ram boys soccer team is 2-0 on the season after an 8-1 victory over the Carroll Tigers in Carroll Thursday. The Ram boys soccer team opened the 2019 campaign with an 8-3 victory in Humboldt Tuesday. “We played very well,” coach Carl Behne said about his team. “We started the first half very strong and maintained possession of the vast majority of the first half.”
