Students and staff at Paton-Churdan schools and employees at John Deere in Paton partnered in the Caring Christmas collection for the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center. All donations of food and personal care items will be distributed to persons in need in the county.

Construction class project moving along
The students in the construction class at Greene County High School met their goal of having this year’s class project, a 1,280-square-foot house on E. Wilcox Way entirely enclosed before cold weather.

The Greene County Middle School student council conducted a food drive Dec. 7-15 and collected 395 items for the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center food pantry. They delivered the items to the ARC the same day. The students and student council advisor Betsey Wiederin thank all who helped with the food drive.

High school students demonstrated collaboration last Sunday when members of the Interact Club at the Greene County chapter of National Honor Society worked with Habitat for Humanity at the annual Nativity Festival.
