Students help at Nativity Festival

High school students demonstrated collaboration last Sunday when members of the Interact Club at the Greene County chapter of National Honor Society worked with Habitat for Humanity at the annual Nativity Festival.

Students greeted attendees and later helped serve the soup that followed a community concert.

According to Habitat associate director Jeff Lamoureux, the students were friendly and willing to help out wherever they were needed. “Having students at the festival is a great asset to Habitat and really demonstrates what great kids of character we have in our school district,” Lamoureux said. “There were a lot of positive comments about these students from attendees.”

The high school music department also participated in the Nativity Festival, with a saxophone ensemble and carolers performing during the concert.
