The Greene County chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) is having a tailgate fundraiser during the last home football game on Friday, Oct. 16, from 5 to 7:30 pm. The supper will be served by the crow’s nest at the football field, located under the press box.
The Greene County Cattlemen’s Association will be grilling the hamburgers. In addition, chips, condiments, veggies, dessert bar and water will be included for the freewill donation.
Takeout will be available and home delivery for individuals who call the high school at 515-386-2188 by noon on Friday, Oct. 16, to place their order. The meal will be delivered between 5 and 5:30 to local homes. All proceeds will go toward service projects of the NHS organization.
“Please support NHS along with the football players, band members, and all seniors at the last home football game,” an NHS spokesperson said. The Rams will play the Boone Toreadors with kick-off at 7:30 pm.
