Greene County Democrats will gather for a fundraiser steak dinner Saturday, Sept. 19, at 5:30 pm at the Greenewood Center, 401 W. Greenewood Road in Jefferson.
The dinner will be followed by a pie auction. Scheduled speakers are Dr Andy McGuire, chair of the Democrats of Iowa, and former Iowa legislator Ed Fallon. Kim Weaver, who will run for Congress against Steve King, will also speak.
