The Greene County girls track and field team hosted a meet last Friday, taking fourth as a team, after the Tuesday meet at Panorama was canceled due to lousy weather.
With Friday’s performances, there were three additions to the Top 10 list for Greene County. Emma Ewalt is now eighth on the discus list, with Kaylee Stalder eighth in the 400 meter hurdles. The 4×800 meter relay team of Hailey Carman, Sadie Shannon, Leah McCormick and Evelyn Snyder is now also eighth on the list.
Top five finishes for the Rams came from Emma Ewalt in discus and Payton Kokenge in high jump, second place; Daniele Madsen, shot put and the 4×800 meter relay team of Hailey Carman, Sadie Shannon, Leah McCormick and Evelyn Snyder, third place. Kaycee Pittman took third in the 400 meter hurdles and fourth in the 400 meter dash, with the distance medley team of Calleigh Fitzpatrick, Bellah Johnson, Payton Kokenge and Hailey Carman finishing fourth.
