Greene County Development Corporation and Jefferson Matters: Main Street are partnering to host a tour of available buildings for business and residential opportunities in downtown Jefferson on April 25 & 27. The tour includes retail space, office space and housing options within the Main Street District. To date, twelve locations will be on the tour.
The Available Buildings Tour is intended for business owners, entrepreneurs with ideas, young persons wanting to work for themselves, immigrants with a work ethic to seize the American dream, and companies looking for a trusted labor force and a business-friendly tax environment.
The tours will be held Thursday, April 25, from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday, April 27, from 10 am to 2 pm. Building owners or contact persons will be available at each location on Thursday from 12 to 1 pm and 4 to 5 pm, and on Saturday from 12 to 1 pm.
Persons going on the tour can register to pick up materials and resource lists at the Welcome Center at Thomas Jefferson Gardens at 201 E. Lincoln Way. A signed waiver will be needed to enter the buildings. A Jefferson sign and a local greeter will be at each location.

Also on April 25, Midwest Partnership will host an EntreBASH event targeted for small business owners and entrepreneurs from 5 to7 pm at the Elks lodge at 103 W Harrison in Jefferson. This free event will provide free resources for small businesses with refreshments and a cash bar. Click here for more information.
