The Greene County Rams boys basketball game Tuesday in Nevada was the sort of game that keeps fans coming back for more. After trailing 20-11 after one quarter and 33-27 at halftime, the Rams’ perseverance garnered a 60-55 victory. The win puts them at 5-1 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference and 6-1 overall.

Rams split non-conference games against Southeast Valley Jaguars
The Ram basketball games started a busy week Monday hosting the Southeast Valley (Gowrie) Jaguars for non-conference games. The girls lost 38-29 and the boys won 69-46. The girls continued the struggles that caught them at Wells Fargo Arena, shooting at 18 percent for the game and committing 22 turnovers.
