Teresa Lansman of New Opportunities will lead the ‘Community Conversations’ series Thursday, Oct. 6.
The monthly series is hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson. Fellowship and snacks will be available a 5 pm and the discussion will begin at 5:30.
Lansman is known as the “go-to” person for most programs that serve those in need in Greene County. Lansman will discuss programs and volunteer opportunities including the SHARE food program, the backpack program that provides children with weekend meals, Toys for Tots, the school supply drive, Operation Warm Hearts, the Christmas food basket program, the state low income heating and energy assistance program (LIHEAP) and more.
