Companies specializing in lawn and garden and home improvement are invited to showcase their products and services both inside and outside the courthouse. Downtown merchants will also have special promotions celebrating spring.

As an added attraction, gardening expert Jerry Kluver, best known for Hy-Vee’s “Get Growing with Jerry Kluver” television show, will speak at 11 am at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens (rain location is Homestead Coffee & Bakery). Kluver, who will be hosted by Jefferson Matters: Main Street and the Jefferson Garden Club, will share his knowledge of spring planning and answer questions.

Businesses interested in being part of Spring Into Greene are asked to contact the Chamber of Commerce office at 515-386-2155 by March 15.

Also in Jefferson that day will be the sixth annual Spring Spectacular vendor fair at the Greene County Fairgrounds from 10 am to 2 pm. Country Blessings, just off Highway 30 on Pioneer Ave east of Jefferson, is holding its Spring Fling Friday and Saturday, April 29-30.
