The Greene County Ram teams both lost non-conference games Tuesday. The softball team lost in Adel to the ADM Tigers 5-3 as the baseball team lost at home to the Southeast Valley (Gowrie) Jaguars 11-7.

Family and friends gathered Friday, June 19, at the lakeside shelter house at Spring Lake Park to celebrate the life of Kevin Campbell, 57, of Jefferson. Honorary bearers were Howard Natzel, Tom Duncan, Terry Day, Tom Danielson, Dave Baldus, Chris Borst, Jim Kinsman, Ken Wright and Lori Whiton-Damron. Greene County sheriff’s deputies were busy during the most recent special Traffic Enforcement Project (sTEP) May 18-31. During that time, deputies responded to nine property damage accidents and one personal injury accident.
