Veterans plan Armed Forces Day picnic lunch

Armed Forces Day is a day to recognize members of the Armed Forces who are currently serving. To mark Armed Forces Day on May 16, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary, and the American Legion will host an Armed Forces Day picnic Saturday, May 16,, from 11 am to 2 pm at the VFW hall, 109 N. Henning leaves Chamber director position

Greene County Chamber president Omega Sang reports that April 30 was the last day on the job for Chamber executive director Chris Henning. Henning joined the Chamber as a contractor in May of 2013 to assist the board and the Bell Tower Festival committee pull together the 2013 festival.
