Armed Forces Day is a day to recognize members of the Armed Forces who are currently serving. To mark Armed Forces Day on May 16, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary, and the American Legion will host an Armed Forces Day picnic Saturday, May 16,, from 11 am to 2 pm at the VFW hall, 109 N. Chestnut St, in Jefferson.

Sweet recognition for providers at ELC
