Students in grades 1 through 3 who attend Greene County Elementary will present their spring program, “We Are Americans,” Thursday, March 26, at 1:30 and 7 pm. in the Greene County Middle School Gymnasium.
The program will include art exhibits, music and PE activities, with an emphasis on a patriotic theme.
In class, the children have talked about words like democracy, liberty, freedom, and what it means to each of us to be an American. Second and third graders have been asked to write about people they know who have served, or are currently serving in our military. Their thoughts will be available for viewing at both programs. “Please join with us as we celebrate our country,” said phys ed teacher Lori Danner and music teacher Susan Turner.
