David Petersen earns All-State Speech recognition

Greene County High School junior David Petersen has been selected to perform at the prestigious All-State Speech Festival for individual events Monday, March 30, on the University of Northern Iowa campus. Petersen received “I” ratings in solo musical and in poetry at the state speech contest held March 14 at Nevada. His All-State selection is solo musical.

A pair of Greene County school buses will soon bequipped with wireless Internet capability with assistance from a pair of Jefferson businesses – Ben Franklin/Radio Shack and Jefferson Telecom.
