May weather was typical for Greene County, according to volunteer weather observer John Beltz. Beltz reported a total of 4.16 inches of rain; normal is 4.14 inches. Temperatures were also very close to normal, with the average high temperate 72.2 degree, compared to the normal 72.4 degrees, and the average low temperature 48.6 degrees, compared to the normal 48.3 degrees.
