Dennis Dean Murphy of Jefferson, who was listed Aug. 15 on the FBI’s National Crime Information Center data base, has been located in Texas, according to Jefferson chief of police Mark Clouse. He has not returned to Iowa, as of Sept. 8.

Greene County district court, week ending Aug. 19

In Greene County district court a judgment was entered Aug. 15 against Craig Darwin Presley, 55, of Jefferson after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license barred. He was fined $1,000 with a $350 surcharge, a $10 surcharge for drug abuse resistance education, and restitution for his court appointed attorney to be determined. Court…

Jefferson man listed as ‘missing’

Dennis Dean Murphy, 61, of Jefferson was listed Aug. 15 on the FBI’s National Crime Information Center data base after his wife Marlene reported she has had no contact from him since Aug. 9. Jefferson police chief Mark Clouse said no foul play is suspected. There is not an active search for Murphy.
