Rotary supports Ram Reader program

Every student at Greene County Elementary took a new book of their own home for the holiday break, as a Ram Reader book distribution was held Dec. 21. Elks host community Christmas dinner

(Information regarding poinsettias added Monday) More than 200 area residents enjoyed a traditional Christmas dinner at the Elks lodge on Christmas Day. The Jefferson Rotary Club recently provided new winter coats to Greene County students and local adults. The coats were purchased through Rotary District 6000’s Operation Warm Coats, which helps local Rotary clubs purchase cases of new coats at affordable prices.
