Jefferson received .67 inch of rain during the week that ended Aug. 12. Unfortunately, rain on Thursday caused the cancellation of a favorite summer event, the Hot August Night car/truck/motorcycle/tractor show. High temperature according to KCCI’s SchoolNet 8 was 94 degrees. Low temperature was 64 degrees.
