Vacation Bible school is slated for June 26-29 from 5:45 to 7:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church, Jefferson. There is no charge for this program and all children 3 years old and older (and toilet trained) are invited. The curriculum is created, led, and taught by high school Youth-in-Training (YIT) members with lots of volunteer help.

The NEW Cooperative Foundation has again shown its commitment to supporting local 4-H programs by donating $43,545 to area 4-H groups. The money is donated for half of each youth 4-H member’s dues in NEW Cooperative trade area, which includes Greene, Webster, Calhoun, Carroll, Franklin, Sac, Pocahontas, Humboldt, Hamilton, Kossuth, Cherokee, Plymouth, Monona and Woodbury counties.
