The seventh annual Healthiest State Walk was Wednesday, with less fanfare locally than other years. There wasn’t a community walk planned in Jefferson, but Greene County Elementary had a walk and Paton-Churdan had it’s annual walk that included the entire school and members of the community.

The Churdan public library board and staff will serve a spaghetti supper Thursday, Oct. 5, from 5 to 7 pm in the Paton-Churdan school cafeteria.
