Entertainment on the grounds during the Greene County Fair is just that: entertaining!
Poppin’ Penelope has a long line of children waiting for her balloon creations whether she’s in the bus barn or at Clover Hall. As she twists and ties balloons into fanciful creations her hands move so fast they’re hard to see.
Tate Minnihan of Wisconsin let Penelope surprise him with what she made for him. Not everyone can wear such a hat!
She was one of the visitors at the Minnehan School Saturday morning. She made school marm Marilynn Hoskinson a unique gift after her visit. While she and Hoskinson talked, they heard bats in the school house chimney reciting their lessons. Penelope is a bit of a Cake Boss; she made Hoskinson a bat cake!
And, Chris Camp, aka The Whip Guy, along with the Whip Crackin’ Dare Devils (his family), hold folks’ attention with amazing tricks with bull whips. Their hands also move so fast they blur for photos, and the whips can’t be seen.
Poppin’ Penelope and Chris Camp will entertain Sunday afternoon at the fairgrounds. There is no gate admission to the fair and there’s no charge for the entertainment, either.
