The Jefferson park and recreation department (JPRD) is hosting a pair of fun, one day events.
Families can enjoy an afternoon of fun at the Shrine Circus on Saturday, March 22. JPRD is providing free transportation to the Jacobson Building at the State Fairgrounds in Des Moines and the Shriners are providing free tickets to anyone riding the bus. Children 5th grade and younger must be chaperoned by an adult. The bus leaves the Greene County Community Center parking lot at 12:30 pm. Space is limited on the bus; early registration is suggested.
Youngsters ages 3-6 years are invited to have fun with modified rodeo events at the annual Rowdy Rodeo Wranglers Satruday, March 22, from 9 to 10 am at the Community Center. Participants will receive their own stick pony. Space is limited.
