Area residents are reminded that the Friends of the Jefferson Public Library’s 23rd annual used book sale is coming soon. The Friends will gratefully accept donations of books (hardcover, paperback, in any genre, as well as children’s books), CDs, DVDs, audio tapes, games and puzzles for the sale.
Items can be placed in the drop boxes in the library entryway. The Friends regret they can not accept encyclopedia for the sale.
The sale will be held Sept. 19-26 during regular library hours. Saturday, Sept. 19, will be a Friends Only sale, with memberships available at the door.
The book sale is the Friends’ largest fundraiser during the year. The organization appreciates the support of area residents whose donations make the sale possible.
