His presentation was titled “Herbs and Spices: Health Benefits and the Promotion of Dietary Recommendations.” Graves is majoring in biology.

Grand View University tells honor students: Lauren Stein of Jefferson and Keaton Schlatter of Coon Rapids were named to the president’s list for the fall semester at Grand View University. Students on the president’s list earned a 4.0 grade point average while carrying at least 12 hours of classes. Students named to the dean’s list (3.5 grade point average or higher) include Dylan Laughery of Bagley, Allison Harbaugh of Jefferson, and Garrett Mleynek of Yale.
Monahan: Craig Monahan of Churdan was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. Monahan is studying in the associate in applied science program in agricultural geospatial technology. Students on the dean’s list earned a 3.3 grade point average or higher after completing 12 or more hours at Kirkwood.
Central College: Elizabeth Carman, Nathan Graves and Mady Adamson, all of Jefferson, were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Central College. Carman is the daughter of Douglas and Karen Carman of Jefferson. Graves is the son of Denis and Marcia Graves of Jefferson. Adamson is the daughter of Jay and Cindy Adamson.
Gunn, Hoskins: Brittany Gunn of Jefferson was named to the president’s list for the 2013 fall semester at Graceland University, having earned a 4.0 grade point average. Kathi Hoskins, also of Jefferson, was named to the dean’s list. Students on the dean’s list earned between a 3.25 and 3.64 grade point average.
Geisler-Piihl: Devon P. Geisler-Piihl of Churdan was named to the 2913 fall semester academic honor roll at Northwest Missouri State University. Students on the honor roll earned a 3.5 grade point average or better.
