There is probably no better vantage point to watch progress on construction projects around Jefferson and of the crops that spread in every direction than from the top of the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower.
The Bell Tower officially opened its 2015 season last Saturday. Season passes, priced at just $15 each, will make it easy for area residents to make frequent trips to the top of the tower to get a bird’s eye view of what’s happening a mile away at the corner of Highways 4 and 30, or stretching on to the horizon.
