Larry Darwin Jackson was born March 14, 1939, to John and Norma (Sanderson) Jackson. Larry attended school in Jefferson and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1957. He went to college at Northwest Missouri State at Maryville, MO.
On November 17, 1961, Larry entered the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Germany and enjoyed traveling in Europe. He was honorably discharge in 1965.
Larry moved to Denver, CO, and worked as a broker of products to grocery stores. He retired to Pheonix, AZ, and sold various items at flea markets. He later returned to Jefferson to live, where he enjoyed his many friends as well as his local family.
Larry enjoyed watching sports and hanging out with his friends at the Elks Club. He continued to sell items at flea markets and festivals.
Larry Jackson passed away in Jefferson on Sept. 9, 2026 at the age of 87 years. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Norma Jackson; his brother Lonnie Jackosn; and his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Tom Miller.
Survivors include his brother,Jon (Bonnie) Jackson of Carroll; his sister Karen (Dave) Clopton of Jefferson; many friends and other relatives.
Private family interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery.
