Keegan Kennedy, 17, of Jefferson. Services: Monday, Aug. 3, at 11 am at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson, 515-386-2171. Visitation Monday from 9:30 until the service. Interment: Jefferson Municipal Cemetery. He was a beloved son, partner, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. Keegan leaves behind a family who loved him beyond measure. Survivors: girlfriend Taelin Kay; mother Amelia Burnie (Roger); father Patrick Kennedy; brothers Colin (Dharyan) and David; sisters Shanna, Lily and Joanna; nephew Emmett and niece Everlee; grandparents Bruce and Tammara Binkley, Duane and Susan Forkner Randy and LaDonna Kennedy Cheryl Tallant and Jackie Metzer; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorials are suggested to the family.
