American Legion Post #11 members whose continuous membership year ended in 0 or 5 were recognized and presented with certificates at the April 13 meeting. The members then shared accounts of their military service.

The American Legion in Jefferson meets every second Monday of each month at 7 pm at the Thomas Jefferson Welcome Center. All who have served or are serving are welcome to attend.
