The Greene County Historical Society and the Barbie Team invite the public to attend the official opening of the “Barbie By the Bells” exhibition Wednesday, June 3, at the Society’s newly acquired building located next to the main museum.
The Greene County Historical Society recently purchased the building to create a permanent home for the extensive Barbie collection, allowing hundreds of dolls and memorabilia pieces to be displayed year-round for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
In addition to the Barbie displays, visitors can experience the Barbie car exhibit, take photos in the popular Barbie Box photo opportunity area, and enjoy a children’s dress-up station designed especially for younger guests.
The Greene County Historical Society, including the Barbie By the Bells exhibit, will be open Wednesdays from 1–4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.–noon.
Extended exhibit hours will be offered during Bell Tower Weekend festivities. Groups interested in arranging a special tour may call 515-386-8544.
