Cases were initiated in Greene County magistrate court during the week ending Jan. 23 as follows: Bradley Keith Langfitt of Jefferson, theft- fifth degree; Anthony Charles Kennedy of Ames, criminal mischief- fifth degree; and Christopher Herbert Lawrence of Ames, violation of no contact order.
