Greene County is in a blizzard warning, with rain spreading from south to north Tuesday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service. There will be widespread amounts of 1-2 inches of rain.
Very strong winds will come from the northwest, with rain changing to snow as temperatures fall. Blizzard conditions are likely in the falling and blowing snow.

Wind gusts of 50-65 mph and significant blowing snow will be widespread Wednesday morning.
The NWS predicts whiteout conditions at times, even in areas that receive relatively less accumulation.

Snow will end from west to east on Wednesday, but blowing snow may persist until winds diminish late in the day.
