Ram girls compete at Audubon Early Bird meet

The season is fully underway for the Greene County girls track and field team after competing in Audubon Early Bird meet last Tuesday, March 26. 

The team was scheduled to compete at Panorama High School Tuesday, but the meet was rescheduled due to weather. They’ll compete at home on Friday, April 5, with a meet on Monday, April 8 in Carroll and on Thursday, April 11, at East Marshall High School.

Greene County found success at the Wheelers’ meet, with four girls and one relay finishing in top five places. Daniele Madsen took second in shot put, with Kaycee Pittman taking third in the 400 meter dash, and Calleigh Fitzpatrick finishing fourth in the high jump, tying her personal record. Emma Ewalt threw her season’s best in discus, earning her fifth place. The 4×400 meter relay team of Savannah Lansman, Addison Gannon, Payton Kokenge and Kaycee Pittman also took fourth place.

Additions to the Top 10 list for Greene County girls track and field 2011 to present were Calleigh Fitzpatrick, putting herself 10th on the high jump list, and the 4×800 team of Hailey Carman, Olivia Shannon, Grace Hardaway and Evelyn Snyder, placing eighth on the Top 10 list. The group also placed eighth in the meet. 

Additions to the freshmen / sophomore Top Five list from 2018 to present are Bellah Johnson, 100 meter hurdles, fourth; Calleigh Fitzpatrick, high jump, fourth; and Evelyn Snyder, 1500 run, fifth.

Discus – Emma Ewalt, 97-04, fifth; Kaylee Stalder, 86-01, 10th; Daniele Madsen 84-10, 11th; Alaina Heard, 82-00, 14th. 

High jump – Calleigh Fitzpatrick, 4-08, fourth; Payton Kokenge, 4-06, sixth; Lila Osterson, 4-04, eighth.

Long jump – Savannah Lansman, 14-02, sixth.

Shot put – Daniele Madsen, 33-06, second; Alaina Heard, 27-09, 14th; Emma Ewalt, 27-0, 18th; Natalie Wright, 19-07, 40th. 

100 meter hurdles – Bellah Johnson, 19.57, 25th; Jennifer Robbins, 21.55, 37th.

100 meter dash – Jennifer Robbins, 15.10, 21st; Bellah Johnson, 15.12, 22nd; Ava Binkley, 16.39, 40th; Nevaeh Kelly, 16.65, 43rd.

200 meter dash – Jocelyn Velazco, 30.97, 16th; Kaylee Stalder, 31.17, 17th; Bellah Johnson, 32.15, 26th; Kamiyah Denman, 35.31, 40th. 

400 meter dash – Kaycee Pittman, 1:04.37, third; Savannah Lansman, 1:08, sixth; Payton Kokenge, 1:12.51, 13th.
