The Greene County boys track and field team took part in the Winterset Invitational last Friday, finding 12th as a team and success for individuals at the meet.
The Rams will compete at Linduska Field in Jefferson Friday, April5. Next week, the team will be in Carroll on Monday, April 8, and at Saydel on Thursday, April 11.
Top 10 finishes came for the Rams in individual events including: Lane Fields, high jump, fourth; Isaac Carman, discus, fourth; Jack Hansen, long jump, ninth; Kamden Kinne, shot put, 10th.
Each of the six Greene County relay teams also placed among the top 10. names of runners in each relay were not available.
Results were:
Shot put – Kamden Kinne, 42-00, 10th; Jace Wilson, 35-02, 25th; Nathan Mohr, 20-02, 40th.
Discus – Isaac Carman, 136-06, fourth; Rafe Michaelsen, 102-06, 22nd; Mason Haley, 102-02, 23rd.
Long jump – Jack Hansen, 19-05.5, ninth; Camden Jacobs, 17-04, 19th.
High jump – Lane Fields, 5-08, fourth.
100 meter dash – Eli Mohr, 12.93, 23rd; Gabe Block, 13.10, 25th.
200 meter dash – Gavyn Winters, 25.34, 18th; Christopher Daugherty, 25.52, 19th.
400 meter dash – Zack Stalder, 58.23, 13th; Brennan Jacobs, 58.97, 15th.
800 meter run – Noah Hinote, 2:25.84, 19th; Maddox Carstensen, 2:50.52, 25th.
1600 meter run – Jaden Koller, 5:26.95, 18th; Eli Carstensen, 6:12.13, 25th.
3200 meter run – Noah Hinote, 11:27.96, 13th; Brady Carstensen, 12:38.68, 18th.
4×110 meter shuttle hurdle relay – Greene County, 1:14.65, ninth.
4×100 meter relay – Greene County, 45.71, eighth.
4×200 meter relay – Greene County, sixth.
4×800 meter relay – Greene County, 9:19.99, ninth.
800 medley relay – Greene County, 1:38.16, third.
1600 medley relay – Greene County, 4:01.37, sixth.
