Rams Against Cancer slated for Dec. 15

Greene County Rams fans and the community will raise funds to beat cancer at Rams Against Cancer Friday, Dec. 15, as the Rams host West Marshall for basketball at Greene County High School.

The evening will start with a steak sandwich tailgate grilled by the Greene County Cattlemen from 5:30 until the food is gone. The meal will include a steak sandwich, chips, a cookie and water. Free will donations will be accepted for the meal.

A silent auction will be in the commons area with items donated by local merchants and individuals. The auction will close at the end of halftime of the boys’ game. Other activities during the girls’ and boys’ varsity games to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Rams Against Cancer is organized by the local Relay for Life event leadership team, with all proceeds going toward services for cancer patients and their families/caregivers, lifesaving research, and advocacy.

Rams Against Cancer T-shirts can be ordered now through Nov. 27 at https://rams-against-cancer.spiritsale.com. Both long- and short-sleeved T-shirts are available. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
