In Greene County district court Lori Anne Gannon, 62, of Churdan was sentenced to 25 years in prison on each of two charges of drug distribution to person under age 18, and five years in prison on each of two charges of intent to deliver less than 50 kilograms of marijuana. The prison terms are concurrent; all were suspended and she was placed on probation to the Department of Correctional Services for three to five years. She must comply with the recommendations of a substance abuse evaluation she has already had done. Gannon was fined $1,025 with a $153.75 surcharge on each of the marijuana charges. One count of drug distribution to person under age 18 and charges of ongoing criminal conduct and failure to affix tax stamp were dismissed. The court found her unable to pay restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees and court costs. A charge in magistrate court of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed. Daniel David Holinkski, 23, of Jefferson was granted a deferred judgment after he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana. He was placed on probation for one year to Boone/Greene County Probation for one year, and he must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at his own expense. A judgment was entered for a $430 civil penalty. He must also pay $450 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $140 court costs. In a related case in magistrate court, a judgment for a $105 fine with a $15.75 surcharge was entered against Holinski on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Alex Garron Treft, 32, of Grand junction was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license barred. He was fined $855 with a $128.25 surcharge; both were suspended. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: McCarville)

Trial dates were set for Aug. 22 in every case.
