Christmas Eve service will be held at 7:15 pm

On Christmas Day, Sunday School begins at 10 am and Worship Services at 11.

Community events – Rippey Library events continue through the end of December.

Music recital – The students of Janice Johnston will present their music recital on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 6 pm. A light supper will be served. The public is invited to enjoy this always-entertaining event.

Wisconsin visit – Roy and Phyllis Bardole left Sunday, Dec. 4, to head to the home of Jason and Allison Bardole in Wauwatosa, WI. The family had just cut their Christmas tree that afternoon so the Bardoles got to watch them put it up and decorate.

Jason left for Indianapolis Monday for a meeting. Allison had a meeting in downtown Milwaukee on Tuesday and Wednesday, so the Rippey Bardoles stayed with Levi, Kate and Chase. During the week they got Chase to school and home. The older ones had carpools that got them back and forth.

Roy did some repairs on a door and there was painting to be done. They had just finished remodeling parts of the house, but there was still painting to do in the parts of the house not remodeled. Trimming takes a long time. It may take another trip up to get more done. Their house is wonderful. New larger kitchen, bathroom, and mudroom that they really needed! Also a new bathroom in the basement.

The elder Bardoles decided to head home on Thursday. Kate had a concert Thursday night but the weather did not look good for the next day. The two families enjoy their time together. They will try to get back sometime before Christmas depending on the weather. They have a desk that wasn’t quite done to deliver.
