The Greene County volleyball team beat the PCM Mustangs 3-0 Sept. 20 on the Mustangs’ home court.

The Rams won all three sets, going 25-17, 25-10 and 25-13. The win brings the Rams to an 11-4 overall record, and a 3-0 conference record.

It was the only contest last week for the Rams.

“Our passing was very good tonight which led to some great options for our offense. Team serving at 93-percent was also a significant factor,” said coach Chris Heisterkamp.

Bella Schroeder and Kaylee Stalder led the team in kills with 12 each. Alexa Peters had 12 digs, and Schroeder had three blocks. Natalie Heupel had 28 assists in the match.

The Rams were scheduled to play again on Tuesday at West Marshall High School. They are hosting a tournament Saturday, Oct. 1. Teams include Boone, Carroll, Pella Christian, Stanton, Carlisle, Nodaway Valley and South Hardin.
