All Greene County military veterans are invited to a special showing of “Top Gun, Maverick” Thursday, June 30, at 2 pm at the Sierra Theatre in Jefferson. The event is hosted by the Greene County veterans commission and veterans affairs.
Veterans’ admission will be free and a small popcorn and small beverage will also be provided with funds from the state Veterans Outreach grant. A short briefing will be held after the movie explaining new information on veteran benefits.
Spouses are welcome to attend but will be asked to pay for their own admission and snacks.
