The Rams had only four golfers available for a meet with Webster City at the Webster City Links April 26. Coach Heath Telleen commended Parker Lehman, Parker Fitzpatrick and Crew Conner “for stepping up to help us. They have done a great job for us in a new situation.”
Fitzpatrick carded a 47 to lead the Rams. Nathan Behne shot 51, Lehman shot 56, and Conner shot 58.
The medalist was Webster City’s Garret Arnold with a 37.
Webster City tallied 165 while the Rams tallied 212.
The Rams golfed again April 28 at Woodland Hill in Des Moines. Jack Hansen shot a career low at 39, good for fourth place. Other Ram scores were Conner 47, Fitzpatrick 54, Mylo Taute 55, Lehman 56 and Brus 60.
Team scores were North Polk 154, South Hamilton 178, Roland-Story 179, Greene County 195 and Saydel 204.
