The Greene County Cattlemen are making preparing for their annual banquet to be held Saturday Feb. 26, at the Greene County Fairgrounds, Clover Hall. Social hour begins at 6 pm with a ribeye steak dinner to be served at 6:30 pm.
Following the meal, the trophy auction will be held.
Money raised at the annual banquet and trophy auction will go toward the many projects supported by the Greene County Cattlemen throughout the year. They continue to support a number of 4-H and youth activities, beef promotion and other important causes. A scholarship program for Greene County seniors has also been very successful in the past thanks to the generosity of donors. The Cattlemen may also be seen throughout the county doing various cookouts.
Entry can be purchased at the door. 2021 donors will receive a free entry.
