Greene County and Paton-Churdan celebrated homecoming last week.
Carmyn Paup and Riley Cullum were crowned as homecoming queen and king at a coronation Sunday, Sept. 26. Junior members of the court were kindergartners Neleh Olson and Treyton Hingeley. They rode together in the homecoming parade Friday afternoon in Jefferson.

Greene County’s coronation was held on the south side of the courthouse following the parade. Blake Hamman was selected by students as king and Brianna Habben was queen.

The Rams won their third homecoming game of the season by shut-out, topping the Read Oak Tigers 55-0. They played in Clarinda’s homecoming game Sept. 24 and beat the Cardinals 41-0. They started their homecoming series in Urbandale Sept. 17, playing the Des Moines Christian Lions in their homecoming game. The Rams won, 55-0.
