The Iowa Association of Agricultural Educators named Raelyn Harris from Greene County Community Schools as the Southwest District Outstanding Young Member for 2021.
This award was established as a means to encourage young teachers to remain in the profession and to encourage and recognize participation in professional activities. It is awarded to an outstanding young agricultural educator in each district in Iowa.
Harris has earned this honor in 2021 for her work in building and sustaining the agriculture and FFA programs at Greene County. A plaque is typically awarded at the annual Iowa Association Agricultural Educators summer conference in June.
