Thank you, Grow Greene County, from Greene County Historical Society

To the editor:

On behalf of the Greene County Historical Society (GCHS) officers, board, and members, I would like to give a big thank you to Grow Greene County for their generous grant to the GCHS.  The money will cover about 3/4 of the cost of replacing the roof on the museum.

This is not the first time Grow Green County and the Greene County Community Foundation have helped GCHS with grants.  It was their grants that allowed GCHS to repair serious issues with the ceiling in the museum two years ago.

Greene County is fortunate to have citizens, past and present, with the talent, dedication, desire, commitment, and vision to keep moving Greene County forward in a positive direction.  Greene County has been, is, and will be in the future a very good place to live, work, get an education, and raise a family.

So, again, a big Thank You to Grow Greene County and the Greene County Community Foundation for supporting the Greene County Historical Society and all of Greene County.  The future looks good!

David John, president, Greene County Historical Society
