Rams compete at Van Meter Invite

Greene County Ram relay teams continue to run well, but the points they score aren’t enough to put their teams at the top of the rankings in track and field meets.

The boys and girls track and field teams competed in the Van Meter Invitational in Van Meter Thursday, April 8. The boys finished seventh of eight teams and the girls finished sixth of seven teams, with the Rams not competing in several events.

Boys coach Chad Morton explained a few runners are healing, and he intentionally didn’t load the meet heavily.

Neither team competes in the high jump. The boys had no entries in the 4 X 100m shuttle hurdle relay, the distance medley, and the 400 yard dash.
