LifeServe Blood Center will hold a community blood drive Tuesday, March 9, from 12:30 to 5:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson. The blood drive is sponsored by Greene County Medical Center.
Due to the pandemic, appointments are required to donate blood. Potential donors can visit lifeservebloodcenter.org, text LIFESERVE to 999-777, or call 800-287-4903 to make an appointment.
All donors must where a face mask. LifeServe is particularly interested in donors who have had Covid-19 as a source for convalescent plasma.
