The Greene County Singers, under the direction of Sheilah Pound, and the Town and Country Band, under the direction of Wes Anderson, are again coming together to celebrate Christmas in Greene County Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4 pm at Central Christian Church in Jefferson.
Both groups believe there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Along with the two groups performing a nice repertoire of Christmas music, the audience will also enjoy and be invited to participate in “The Christmas Story”, a vignette in music, song and narrative.
The Singers are celebrating their fourth year of singing together and the Town & Country Band has been together for going on 20 years. This will be the second time the Greene County Singers and the Town & Country Band will come together to give back to the Greene County communities a special gift of music during this special season.
Refreshments will be served after the concert.
