Prestige Automotive of rural Scranton recently donated entry vests for each of the Jefferson police department’s patrol vehicles.
Officers wear the vests when they respond to situations involving firearms.
“This was a very generous donation and we all greatly appreciate the support,” police captain Heath Enns said.
