Virginia pulled off the win in overtime in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament securing Samantha Busch first place in the Jefferson March Mania contest.
Nearly 400 individuals participated in this year’s contest. Samantha Busch came in first and won a 43” Smart TV. Janice Keasey won second place and the Apple AirPods and Jeri Cunningham won third place and a Roku streaming stick. Kevin Fouch won $50 in Greene County Chamber checks in a random drawing that all contestants were eligible for regardless of standings at the end of the challenge.
Contest participants were invited to fill out brackets for the NCAA men’s basketball championship tournament and earned points for each game they picked correctly. The contest was sponsored by Slam Dunk Sponsors: Aureon, Greene County Medical Center, Home State Bank, Midland Power Cooperative, and Wild Rose Casino & Resort. The contest was powered by Jefferson Telecom.
