The Greene County High School radio broadcasting group was one of 16 radio broadcasting groups at the All-State Speech Festival Saturday at the Iowa State Center in Ames. Greene County was one of the smaller schools to have events selected, and it was the only Heart of Iowa Activities Conference member at the festival.

FFA hosting pancake breakfast
The FFA chapter at Greene County High School will mark National FFA Week, Feb. 18-22, with its annual pancake breakfast Friday, Feb. 22, from 7 to 8:30 am at Ram Restaurant at the school. FFA members will serve pancakes, sausage, and milk or juice. Free will donations will be accepted. All are invited.
